Al-Awwal Park Stadium, venue for the upcoming Spanish Super Cup in Riyadh

The stadium has a capacity of 25,000 thousand spectators

The next edition of the Spanish Super Cup will be held at the Al-Awwal Park stadium in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), located on the campus of King Saud University. A multi-purpose sports venue with a capacity for 25,000 spectators, it will host the two semi-finals and the big final on Sunday 14 January.

Inaugurated in 2015 and renovated in 2020, the stadium has already hosted major football events such as the Maradona Cup between FC Barcelona and Boca Juniors in 2021. Previously, in 2018, the Saudi Arabia and Brazil national teams played against each other in a friendly match and in 2019 it was the venue for the Italian Super Cup between Lazio and Juventus. It currently hosts   Club's matches in both the Saudi Arabian League and the Asian Champions League.

The first semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup to be hosted at the Al-Awwal Stadium will be between Real Madrid CF and Club Atlético de Madrid on Wednesday 10 January at 20:00 CET. The second semi-final between FC Barcelona and Club Atlético Osasuna will be on Thursday 11, also at 20:00.
