Just a few hours after completing their final group stage match against Japan, Spain returned to training on Tuesday morning (midnight on the Spanish mainland).
Wellington's Newton Park stadium hosted the training session for the squad, divided between the gym for those who played the the most minutes against Japan and the pitch for the rest of the players.
The Women's National Team will continue training in the New Zealand capital until next Friday before flying to Auckland.
Switzerland await in what promises to be a nail biting Round of 16 tie at Eden Park Stadium on Saturday 5 August at 7am CET.
