All time record crowd of 15,896 fans at La Rosaleda

The previous record was 14,194 people, registered at the Nuevo Arcángel in Córdoba.

Nobody wants to miss a Spanish national team match and the game against Sweden was the clearest example. Spain had already qualified for the semi-finals of the UEFA Women's Nations League and yet the Málaga crowd responded in the best possible way by turning out in record numbers.

La Rosaleda broke the attendance record with a total of 15,896 spectators, in figures that are being surpassed match after match. The record had already been broken in 2019 at Riazor (10,444 spectators), but since then, the number of fans at matches played in Spain has continued to increase.

In September 2022, El Sadar in Pamplona reached 11,209 spectators, but the highest number of fans to date was recorded in September this year, when 14,194 turned out at the Nuevo Arcángel in Córdoba. It is clear that the world champions are becoming a must watch for more and more football fans.
