Álvaro de Miguel Casanueva appointed new RFEF general secretary

The duties of deputy secretary will be assumed by Oscar Callejo.

The president of the RFEF, Pedro Rocha, has today appointed Álvaro de Miguel Casanueva as general secretary of the institution.

As a law graduate, he has hitherto been responsible for the disciplinary committees and the internal rules and regulations of the RFEF within the legal department, where he has worked since 2014. During this time he has carried out coordination and advisory work in this area and with the various internal RFEF departments.

Likewise, Oscar Callejo, current RFEF Training Coordinator and Secretary of the National School of Coaches, who has been working at RFEF since 2003, has also been appointed Deputy Secretary of the Federation.

This decision is a clear recognition of the abilities, efficiency and efforts of the professionals working at the Royal Spanish Football Federation, and a recognition of their potential and quality.
