Álvaro Morata: "This team have started a cycle that is already successful"

Álvaro Morata entered the José Zorrilla press room speaking for the team, looking the part of captain and insisting that he would love it to "be his year", but that what is really important are "the collective titles" both with the national team and with his club".

On young breakthrough star Lamine Yamal, Morata commented that "he plays like he's 27 instead of 16, it's amazing. You have to congratulate all the coaches he has had in his career. He's a very mature boy, he has an incredible future ahead of him. Everything good that happens to him will also be good for the Spanish national team. Although he also had words of praise for Rodrigo Riquelme and stated that he helps all the new players and that "they have great futures in front of them because they are already playing for Spain".
