An unforgettable 26th birthday for Lucía García

Lucía García will find it hard to forget 14 July 2024. From early in the morning, the Rayadas de Monterrey player was showered with affection.

The hugs and congratulations didn't stop coming from very early on in the day: at breakfast at the hotel, in the gym before training, on the journey that took the internationals from Madrid to La Coruña and, of course, at the end of the dinner with the traditional birthday cake.

Lucia's favourite is the triple chocolate and cheese cake, a preference well known by the National Team staff that, once again, did not fail. Before applause and cheers, the international player with the Spanish National Team blew out the candles and dedicated a few words to her teammates and the staff members who accompanied them: "It is a very happy and special day for me", she concluded.

Lucía García, who has pulled on the Spain shirt 47 times and scored 11 goals, was also able to enjoy the victory of the Men's National Team in Berlin and the winning of the fourth European Championships.

A day full of emotions that will always remain in her memory.
