The Real Madrid coach said that ‘in clasicos, individual quality prevails over collective play, which is why there are usually mixed results in this type of match’.
Carlo Ancelotti has acknowledged that he has analysed exhaustively what happened in the last clash between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona and that they are clear about the details to be corrected and what they need to repeat in order to get a positive result.
Regarding his counterpart in the final, Hansi Flick's Barça, he stated that ‘matches against Barcelona are always complicated for both teams’.
For the Italian coach, ‘the Spanish Super Cup is a competition that helps you to go into the rest of the season in the best way possible. It has a lot of value because the seasons we have won it, we have also won the league and the Champions League’.
