Ancelotti: "We are in the final again, without being at our best".

The Real Madrid coach highlights the result and the atmosphere, in a "struggling and difficult" match due to "a collective mistake".

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti stressed in a press conference the good news of his team being "in the final again", after a "struggling and difficult match"; and he was grateful for the "fantastic atmosphere" in the grandstand of the King Fahd stadium in Riyadh.

In his opinion, the match became harder due to a team mistake "At this level, games are always difficult, but we made a mistake at the beginning of the second half that made the game difficult for us," he said, referring to an action that he summed up as "an individual play and a collective mistake".

Ancelotti was asked if Real Madrid had paid the conseguences for any physical weaknesses, and he was clear: "It wasn't a physical problem, because at the end of the game we were better; we're not at our best, there are players who have been playing for a short time and we need to be in better physical condition". Ancelotti was happy, because his team had "delivered" and had been "always there on the pitch". "It's obvious that the team is not at its best, but we have to improve little by little, fullfilling our duty", he said.

As for the final on Sunday, he was asked about three players who were injured in the semi-final (Camavinga, Lucas Vázquez and Militao). Ancelotti was confident about the progress of the French and Brazilian internationals, but he was uncertain about whether the Spaniard could play in the decisive match: "Lucas Vázquez's injury seems more serious, I don't know".

In any case, Ancelotti was optimistic ahead of the final and clear: "We're going to fight hard to win the Supercopa".
