Ancelotti: “We gave everything we had, I have nothing to complain about”

Carlo Ancelotti appeared before the media after facing FC Barcelona in the grand final. The Italian wanted to highlight his team’s performance, stating that “we competed very well. It was more complicated in the first half and we controlled more in the second. We were very close and gave everything we had.”


When analysing his opponents and the difficulties they posed, Ancelotti explained that “FC Barcelona are a team that press very well when they have energy. From the 30th minute, when their pace dropped, we managed to handle the ball better. It was a very good match.”


Finally, the coach of the team from Madrid expressed his pride in his team, affirming that “we are hurt because we were not able to lift the cup, but I have no complaints. Everything we could do, we did.”
