Ancelotti: ‘We have to move on, there's nothing else for it’.
The Madrid coach, serious and forthright in his manner, only highlighted ‘the good game for Mbappé’.

Real Madrid CF coach Carlo Ancelotti appeared in a serious mood at the post-final press conference, pointing out his side's defensive errors against FC Barcelona.
In a brief and forceful press conference, Ancelotti was crystal clear. ‘I can't take anything away from Mbappé's performance,’ he summed up; “the rest we have to forget about and move on, and recover the good momentum we had had before today”.

The match, according to Ancelotti, was ‘sad all the way through’, ‘from the first minute’; he had pointed out that, to win the game, it would be necessary to defend well, and in his own words, they didn't do that. However, the Madrid coach pointed out that he had briefly believed it was possible to come back after the sending off of goalkeeper Szczesny. It was not to be. ‘Barcelona deserved to win, they defended better than us,’ he concluded, emphatically.
