On 19 July the Men's Olympic Team arrived in Paris for their opening match at the Games, then five days later, they played against Uzbekistan at the Parc des Princes with a clear objective in mind: to give themselves a chance to return to the same stage to fight for gold in the final. Two weeks after their opening game and after one of the great feats of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, they have achieved their goal and are back in the French capital to face the host nation in the final in Paris.

On Tuesday, the 22 players and the entire delegation travelled by train from Marseille to Paris. After a three-and-a-half hour journey, they are now resting in the French capital to begin preparations for the second consecutive final at the Games for Spanish football.
