After their biggest win ever at the World Cup, the Women's National Team returned from Wellington on Friday night (midday in Spain) to their training base in Palmerston North.

On Saturday morning, the Massey University facilities witnessed another training session for the internationals, who are happy to already have their first three points of the tournament in the bag.

Recovery exercises and small-sided ball work were the focus of a training session full of smiles of satisfaction at the team's brilliant World Cup opener.

The national team will be very much keeping an eye on this evening’s match between Zambia and Japan, who play in the same World Cup group, and whose result could allow Spain to qualify for the last 16 next Wednesday with another victory against the team from Africa.
