The omnipresent red star of Belgrade, with its symbols and glorious memories, headed by the 1991 Champions League final, set the scene for the Spanish national team's morning training session on Friday, the final workout for the squad before leaving Belgrade.

Under a blazing sun and in humid conditions, the internationals held a training session after the match against Serbia played last night at the Rajko Mitić stadium, whose adjoining facilities were the scene for the players' work.

Coach Luis de la Fuente and his coaching staff set up separate groups during the session with specific training loads for the players who played ninety minutes against the Balkan side.

After the training session, the Spain squad will have lunch in the Serbian capital before heading to Nikola Tesla airport to catch their flight to the Swiss city of Geneva, where they will face the Swiss this coming Sunday in the UEFA Nations League.
