Barcelona and Osasuna touch down in Riyadh

The Catalan and Navarran players are resting at their hotel before training on Wednesday in Saudi Arabia.

The four participants in the Spanish Super Cup are already in Riyadh, with the city decked out for a superb tournament. On Monday it was Real Madrid and Club Atlético de Madrid who touched down on Saudi soil, and this Tuesday afternoon it was FC Barcelona and CA Osasuna who landed in the Saudi capital.

Both sets of players received a special reception before travelling from the airport to their hotels. Tomorrow they will train at the Prince Faisal facilities and on Thursday before going head to head against each other in the second semi-final of this Super Cup at Al-Awwal Park.

We've almost made it to kick off time in Riyadh, where you can really feel the excitement and buzz to be holding a football event of such stature. The tickets for Wednesday's Madrid derby have already sold out, and interest in Thursday's Barça-Osasuna match has also skyrocketed.
