Brazil, the last hurdle on the way to the Paris 2024 Olympic quarter-finals

Heat, humidity and Brazilian history await Montse Tomé's team in the last of three group matches at the Paris 2024 Olympic tournament. After two brilliant victories against Japan and Nigeria, Spain will now take on Brazil, a match in which the world champions arrive with qualification secured and looking to confirm top spot in the group.

Starting at 17:00 and in front of more than 17,000 people, the Women's Olympic Team will be looking to round off a perfect group phase with a another victory and accumulate nine points out of a possible nine, which is no easy task given that Brazil come into the match with one win and a loss and need to guarantee its presence among the last eight teams.

This is also the case of the Brazil of the veteran and legendary Marta, who will try to unseat an imperial, dominant Spain, who are marching proudly at Paris 2024.
