Collaboration agreement between the RFEF and the Mauritanian Football Federation

Luis Rubiales and Ahmed Yahya have signed an agreement in which they commit to share experiences in different areas in order to enrich both entities.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation and the Mauritanian Football Federation have signed this Tuesday a collaboration agreement that endorses the relations between both entities, committed to the development of football in all its fields.

Luis Rubiales, president of the RFEF, and Ahmed Yahya, head of the FFRIM, held a cordial and productive meeting at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas, which ended with the signing of a collaboration agreement between the two federations (memorandum of understanding in its technical name). The two presidents have assured that they will work side by side in search of mutual benefit.

The RFEF and the FFRIM have committed to an alliance that includes the permanent exchange of knowledge and experience in highly relevant areas such as marketing, communication and strategy. They will also work in the technological area, in training and in working with the grassroots of football, which is essential for growth.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation is also committed to collaborate directly with the African federation in the training of coaches with courses, seminars and conferences and there will be an active exchange of knowledge on the physical work of referees and their knowledge.

This agreement, which will be reviewed annually, will enable the RFEF to continue to strengthen its ties with other federations from all continents and to maintain its position as a world reference. The Mauritanian president took advantage of his visit to the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas to visit the facilities.

Also present at the meeting were Jorge Mowinckel, RFEF's Director of Strategy and International Relations, and Luis Fuertes, Sports Director of the FFRIM.
