Whatever happens from now on, Atlético de Lugones, Chiclana CF, CD Buñol, CD Hernán Cortés, Turégano CF, AD Tardienta, UE Rubí, CD Boiro, Deportivo Murcia FC, and CD Quintanar have already made history.
These ten clubs, all of them from regional categories, will face a First Division team in the next round after successfully passing the qualifying round of the Copa del Rey.
The first round of the cup will be played at the stadiums of the lower-tier clubs in a single-match format.
Passionate and inclusive in equal measure, the knockout competition is ready to unveil its 119th edition.
On Tuesday, October 17, the Ciudad del Fútbol will host the draw for the first round, which will feature all the already qualified teams except for SD Amorebieta, the First Federation champion, and those clubs entitled to compete in the Spanish Supercopa.
