"From the first day they have made me feel at home," said Marc Cucurella, who is living his dream in 2024 with the national team.

The Chelsea player played his first full 90 minutes for Spain in the previous match against Brazil in Madrid and last week he received the great news that his name was on the list for the two European Championships warm-up matches.

This Wednesday's clash against Andorra in Badajoz is the first stop on the road to the tournament for which, according to the player from Alella, ‘Spain is always one of the favourites because of its level and the quality of the players. We will try to do our best and give our best’.

Cucurella says he feels ‘very happy and eager to contribute. Personally, I think I'm in a good moment and I feel better than ever", after four days of preparation with his teammates at the Ciudad del Fútbol, with whom he says he is “very comfortable and that's very important because in the end the teams that win titles are the ones that work as a family”.

This first test in Badajoz will be important to see where the team are in terms of form ahead of a European Championships in which Marc considers is going to be played at  ‘a very high level with teams like France, England and the Netherlands. Our group has great teams, but playing at our level we can face anyone. We can do great things", concluded the Spanish international left back.
