As well as helping Spain qualify for the semi-finals of the European Championships, the goals scored by Spain last Friday in Stuttgart may come with an added bonus.
UEFA has selected Dani Olmo and Mikel Merino's goals as two of the four best goals of the last round of games, with the latter two being up contention to be voted the best of the quarter-finals.

Voting is now open and the Spanish internationals will have to compete with England's Bukayo Saka's left-footed strike and Stefan de Vrij's header against Turkey.
The support of the fans will be key to achieving this award ahead of Tuesday's big game against France, with a place in the final of the European Championships on everyone's minds.
