Daniel Siebert will officiate the qualifying match between Georgia and Spain

The German referee will be assisted on the sidelines by his compatriots Jan Seidel and Rafael Foltyn

This Friday, starting at 6:00 PM (Spanish Peninsula time), the Boris Paichadze National Stadium in Tbilisi will be the stage for an important qualifying match for the national team on their path to the Euro 2024, which will be held in Germany next year.

The German referee Daniel Siebert who has been appointed for this match between Georgia and Spain, the third one that the team coached by Luis de la Fuente is playing in the continental qualification phase.

In the VOR room, the Germans Marco Fritz and Pascal Müller will be present as VAR and assistant referees.

Born 39 years ago in Berlin, Siebert has experience refereeing a match involving Spain in the Georgian capital, , although in this case, it was the U-19 national team, which was then coached by the current senior national team coach. Players like Marco Asensio, Mikel Merino, or Rodrigo Hernández were part of that team. This match took place during the 2015 Elite Round, and Spain won 4-0 against Portugal.

Daniel Siebert, an international referee for the past eight years with experience in the last European Championship, the Qatar World Cup, and the penultimate stage of the UEFA Nations League, will have his compatriots Jan Seidel and Rafael Foltyn as assistant referees, while another German, Florian Badstübner, will serve as the fourth official.
