David García: "As the good Navarrese that we are, we are not afraid of anything".

Illusion, pride and optimism in the expedition of Club Atlético Osasuna, as pointed out in the press room by its captain, David García, and manager, Jagoba Arrasate; Jagoba says he visualizes "David and Unai lifting that copa".

Osasuna faces this Saturday night's match against Real Madrid with enthusiasm and pride, and without fear, as they seek their first title in their 103-year history. This is what Jagoba Arrasate and David García, manager and defender of the rojillo team, said at a press conference on the eve of the final, before the media gathered at the Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville.

David García, international defender, expressed his enthusiasm for the "great atmosphere". "As captain, I am proud to be able to represent the whole of Navarre", said David, who expressed his state of mind ahead of the final: "As the good Navarrese that we are, we are not afraid of anything that could be put in front of us".

When asked about the statistics, which point out that CA Osasuna's last victory against Real Madrid was in 2011, García pointed out that the data is "there to be broken". "We have to try to make sure that the match does not end early and that we have our chances until the last minutes," insisted David, who aspired to see "a recognizable Osasuna" in the final.

"Optimism all around", said the Osasuna captain, who wanted to thank "all the "rojillos" for the trip here, which is not easy". "They are going to enjoy an unforgettable weekend, and hopefully we can celebrate afterwards," he said.

García also recalled that in 2005, Osasuna's previous participation in a Copa final, he himself was at the Vicente Calderon. "I have a bittersweet feeling about that, but you can imagine how excited I am about tomorrow's match", he insisted, before a match that, for him, "means everything" in his professional career.

Arrasate: "I can see David and Unai lifting the copa".

Jagoba Arrasate, coach of the 'rojillo' team, appeared in the press room after his captain. He did so showing his calmness and desire, "naturally" before the match; something that does not clash with realism or dreams. "I can see David (García) and Unai (García) lifting the copa," he said, smiling.

Jagoba is clear: "If we are capable of combining naturalness and enthusiasm, it won't be an easy match for Real Madrid", he affirmed, highlighting that his team knows what to do to compete against the Merengues. "The only option to win is to play a perfect game, rather than surprise the opponent," he indicated, before explaining that they need "a choral defense" and intense collective work.

"If we play an open game, it will be very difficult", he explained, facing one of the best teams in the world in a match in which they will undoubtedly need their fans: "They should play with us tomorrow from ten o'clock onwards, because we will need them".

Arrasate highlighted the confidence he has felt in CA Osasuna, which allows him to "give the best of himself". "A project requires a process, a process requires time; and this final is a bit of a culmination of the process, but we are not satisfied with that and we want to take the Copa," he said.
