Der Öschberghof chosen as Spain’s basecamp for Euro 2024

The Spanish National Team has already chosen its accommodation and training basecamp for the next European Championships to be  held in Germany from 14 June to 14 July. The Royal Spanish Football Federation has chosen the Der Öschberghof facilities to host the national team. Der Öschberghof is located in the German town of Donaueschingen, in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg, in the region of Selva Negra-Baar.

The facilities meet all the necessary requirements for a professional football team competing at a top level event such as a European Championships. The facility is set in a very quiet location with large communal and private indoor and outdoor areas.

The sports installations and facilities meet the standards demanded by the national team and have already been successfully tested out by professional clubs from different European leagues. The national team will have up to three football pitches located in the Der Öschberghof area to use for their preparations for their European Championships campaign. In addition, Spain will have extensive fitness and recovery areas equipped with the very latest technology.

The national team will arrive at its facilities in Germany a minimum of five days before their opening match in Berlin, in accordance with UEFA protocol. Spain's first three games at the European Championship will see them face Croatia, Italy and Albania.
