Don’t miss the 'Fan Zone' in La Coruña

The Municipal Stadium of Riazor will be the epicentre of some days of footballing festivities to make the most of the visit of the Spanish National Team to the city.

The Spanish National Team will play against Belgium in its last qualifying match for the UEFA Women's EURO 2025 at the Municipal Stadium of Riazor next Tuesday, 16th July 2024.

So as to build on the visit of the World Cup and UEFA Women's Nations League winners to the regional capital of A Coruña, a 'Fan Zone' will be set up so that all Spain fans can enjoy numerous recreational activities for all ages and a festive atmosphere as a prelude to the match against the Czech team. As with everything revolving around the match, the Real Federación Española de Fútbol and the Real Federación Galega de Fútbol have collaborated with the Concello da Coruña, the Diputación Provincial de La Coruña and the Real Club Deportivo de La Coruña in the organisation of the activities.

The Spanish Women's National Football Team won the only match they have ever played in the Municipal Stadium of Riazor: on 4 October 2019 by 4-0 against Azerbaijan with goals from Patri Guijarro, Virginia Torrecilla and a brace from Aitana Bonmatí.

Over the coming weekend, the 13th and 14th of July, the Carpark at the Municipal Stadium of Riazor, located in Buenos Aires Avenue, 16, in La Coruña, will serve as a meeting point for those who want to have a good time with family or friends.

On Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July, from 11:00 to 14:30 and again from 16:00 to 20:00, the doors of the best Spain 'Fan Zone' open. All those who come to the Riazor Stadium will be able to enjoy various activities such as a 3x3 pitch, a shootometer brought to you by SEUR, table football, an esports area, Cabreiroá Photo Booth, a stage with live music, DJ and an entertainer and challenges with Influencers for everyone's tastes.

In addition, the 'Fan Zone' will have an exhibition displaying the three World Cups won by our Women's National Teams (U-17, U-20 and the Senior Team) and the UEFA Women's Nations League trophy won on 28 February at La Cartuja Stadium in Seville.

Everyone who comes to the Riazor Municipal Stadium carpark will be able to take part in competitions and challenges and win prizes.

Finally, from 8 to 16 July, there will be a photography exhibition on the winning of the World Cup on 20 August 2023 in Sydney with the name "Camino hacia la Estrella" (Road to the Star). This exhibition of photographs marking the history of the national team will be set up in the Plaza del Obelisco in La Coruña.
