"Don't stop playing for solidarity": Bring a toy to the national team's open-door training session this Monday.

The RFEF wants to do its bit for children from vulnerable families so they can enjoy gifts during the upcoming Christmas holidays.

Going to the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas this coming Monday, 13 November, has a double benefit: to watch a Spanish National Team training session and to collaborate with a solidarity initiative to benefit a good cause. The Royal Spanish Football Federation has set up a toy collection campaign, under the slogan "Don't stop playing for solidarity", to coincide with the open-door training session on Monday. Admission to the training session will be free until it reaches full capacity.

Thus, everyone who comes to Las Rozas to enjoy the training session live is invited to bring a toy, new or used in good condition, which the RFEF will send to different charities that work with children and families in vulnerable situations. Through them, these children will be able to enjoy a Christmas with plenty of presents.

At the entrance to the Ciudad del Fútbol there will be a space where these toys can be donated before entering the training session. The toys can be new or used, in which case they must be in good condition and with all their parts - and their packaging, whenever possible - and toys with violent or sexist connotations will not be accepted under any circumstances. They will be delivered unwrapped so that it can be confirmed that they comply with the established requirements.

Everything collected will then be selected and prepared by RFEF employees who have volunteered to collaborate with the initiative, and the toys will be wrapped and delivered in the near future to different interested charaties.

"Don't stop playing for solidarity" is a new RFEF initiative that aims to establish a close link between football, in this case the national team, and socially responsible solidarity initiatives that allow us to work towards building a better and fairer world.

Cheer up and, this Monday, come to our national team's open training session with a toy under your arm. In this way, your visit to the Ciudad del Fútbol will be a real gift, so don't forget to play for solidarity!
