Düsseldorf is located on the banks of the Rhine, and its riverside will be one of the hubs of activity during the European Championships. Here you will find the Fan Zone at Burgplatz, and the entire river bank to the south will be a large viewing area for matches and other official activities.

These areas are also within the old town of Düsseldorf, where you can find plenty of bars and restaurants to go to for the build up.

If you arrive in Düsseldorf via the central station, you can reach the city centre in about 20 minutes, or less, if you use the metro from the station itself.

See city information on the UEFA website

At the moment there is no designated meeting point for Spanish fans. The recommendation is to enjoy the old town of Düsseldorf, where you can also find several Spanish bars. From the city centre, you can travel to the stadium by underground, either from the central station or from the station called D-Heinrich-Heine-Allee where you can use the line U78 to the stop D-Sportpark Nord / Europaplatz. The journey takes about 30 minutes.

(Note: D-MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA/Messe Nord station, also close to the stadium, will not be operational before the match because it is inside the security perimeter, but after the match you should use this station).

To ensure maximum safety and comfort for all attendees at the match, FSE has made available to them the complete list of objects prohibited inside the stadium, including bags or backpacks larger than the size of a DIN-A4 sheet or banners and flags larger than 2.0x1.5 metres
