true symbol of the Spanish automotive industry links up with the National Team in an alliance of shared values, proud tradition and a spirit of achieving future success.

Ebro thus becomes an official sponsor of the Spanish National Team, current women’s World Cup winners, and European champions in the case of the senior men’s team, who will also defend their trophy this June in the final four of the UEFA Nations League.

The agreement signed this Wednesday at the Ciudad del Fútbol between the president of the RFEF, Rafael Louzán, and the CEO of Ebro, Pedro Calef, makes the Spanish brand the official vehicle of the National Team until August 2028 (extendable to 2030), covering major tournaments such as this summer’s UEFA Women’s Euro in Switzerland, next year’s men’s World Cup, the women’s World Cup in 2027 and the UEFA Under-21 European Championships, among other major international sporting events.

During the event that sealed the commitment with Ebro, the president of the RFEF was able to see the plug-in hybrid variants of the s700 and s800 range at the Ciudad del Fútbol, vehicles boastiung cutting-edge technology that are assembled at the Ebro Factory in the Zona Franca in Barcelona, as a symbol of the reindustrialisation of this emblematic production site in our country.

For all these reasons, Louzán celebrated the agreement by stating that "the incorporation of a brand like Ebro, so deeply rooted in our history, into the National Team is excellent news for Spanish football. This collaboration goes beyond sponsorship: it is a symbol of trust in the future and in the power of uniting tradition and innovation. The Spanish National Team is not only a benchmark in football but also a symbol of unity and perseverance. We are delighted to partner with a national brand that reflects these same principles.”

In the same vein, Pedro Calef stressed that this sponsorship agreement is part of Ebro’s commitment to sport and sustainability, reinforcing values such as teamwork, perseverance and shared progress, as “returning to the road with Ebro is also returning to believing in what is ours. We are committed to clean, accessible and identity-driven mobility. Sponsoring the National Team is another way of saying that we are back, and stronger than ever.”

Founded in the mid-20th century in our country, the Ebro brand has recently returned to the automotive market in a new phase focused on the design, manufacturing and the commercialisation of sustainable vehicles. The company is committed to producing models in Spain that run on clean energy as an essential element of our society’s progress towards more sustainable mobility and a greener economy.

The Nation’s favourite team thus joins forces with a symbol of our automotive industry, reaffirming the connection with its people and a shared passion for football with the pride of a country that looks to the future without forgetting where it has come from.
