Every second counts, especially when it comes to saving lives. Based on this premise, UEFA has organised an interesting day in which they gave thorough training on cardiopulmonary resuscitation, a life-saving technique that is useful in many emergency situations, such as a heart attack or drowning, in which a person's breathing or heartbeat has stopped. These session are now customary in the build up to major tournaments and are in coordination with the RFEF's medical services

This cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training session is part of a wider initiative by UEFA together with the European Resuscitation Council to teach as many people as possible the basics of CPR.

In this way, the Spain players were involved in the session and understood the importance of CPR, putting into practice all the theory about this technique. The players realised that anyone can save lives, hence the importance of learning the necessary steps to do so.
