This Wednesday, 26 football players will take charge of more than 47 million fans’ hopes and dreams during Spain’s world debut in the XXII FIFA World Cup. 

All 26 players, who have been called to this indescribable position, will be at the disposition of Luis Enrique, who has mentioned during the press conference, the recovery and return of Álvaro Morata, Dani Carvajal, and the reintroduction of Hugo Guillamón, who has been training outside the group as a precautionary measure. 

Luis Enrique has highlighted the excellent skill levels shown by the internationals the past couple of days during their training sessions in Doha.

During the official training session Tuesday afternoon, we saw the Valencian player train with the rest of his teammates, further confirming what was said by Luis Enrique, who confirmed the extraordinary levels of work put into training sessions during their preliminary stay in Doha. 

This Wednesday at 17:00 (CET) in the Al-Thumama stadium the first match in the history of the World Cup between Spain and Costa Rica will take place, which will be the first of seven games the Spanish national team intends to play until December 18th on Qatari soil.
