Although their official debut is still a few days away, the Spanish National Team is already lapping up the Olympic atmosphere at every moment. Montse Tomé's team had their first training session in Nantes on Monday and they did so in an atmosphere of happiness and excitement for all that is to come.

It will be the first time in history that the Spanish women's football team will take part in one of the sport's biggest events, and they do so against Japan.

Spain completed their first training session at the Stade Marcel Saupin (Nantes), although the match itself will be at Nantes' home stadium, the Stade de la Beaujoire, one of the most historic stadiums in the French league.
