Executive Box 0 in Valladolid will be dedicated to fighting bullying

The RFEF's initiative aimed at raising awareness of different social issues will focus at the José Zorrilla on victims of bullying at school.

This 2 November is the Anti Violence in Schools Day; more specifically fighting a constant scourge in schools, bullying, which according to Unesco data affects one in three students in the world. Spain, according to several reports, is the European country with the highest incidence of bullying. The problem of bullying can cause problems of lack of self-esteem, that can lead to very serious disorders and that have long-term consequences that, on many occasions, manifest themselves in adults.

All this is why the next Executive Box 0 (an RFEF initiative to raise awareness of different social causes) will be dedicated specifically to the victims of bullying and especially school bullying. The initiative will take place on 19 November, on the occasion of the match that the Spanish national football team will play at the José Zorrilla stadium in Valladolid against Scotland, which is an official qualifier for the qualification for Euro 2024.

People who have suffered and reported this type of harassment will be present in Executive box 0; and there will also be the presence of the famous influencer Chiqui Ibai, a 13-year-old tiktoker who is a reference for teenagers in this country.

The RFEF, to raise social awareness

The Executive Boxes 0 initiative was first thought up in September 2022 and, since then, has served to shed more light on various important causes such as the refugee crisis caused by the war between Russia and Ukraine; or workplace and educational difficulties of people with autism. This initiative has been run at all the matches played by the senior national teams in our country, and is part of the RFEF's commitment to provide football with a transformative role in society, thus exercising its responsibility as an institution.

It mustn't be forgotten that, in relation to school bullying, the RFEF has already launched a public awareness campaign in which international players such as Morata, Gavi and Nico Williams gave a voice and a face to the victims of bullying.
