Fans welcome the National Team in Sydney
Around two o'clock in the afternoon on this Wednesday, local time (six in the morning on the Peninsula), the Spanish expedition led by the president of the RFEF landed at Kingsford Smith International Airport, located in the Sydney suburb of Mascot, after a flight of about four hours from New Zealand.
Upon their arrival in Australia, the players were greeted by tons of fans, who had the opportunity to congratulate the team on their brilliant qualification for the World Cup grand final, as well as to get autographs and take photos with the players.
After Tuesday's historic triumph against Sweden, the national team is already settled in Sydney, where tonight they will find out, between Australia and England, their rival for the world title match this Sunday.
Australia Stadium, located in Sydney's Olympic Park, will host the grand final of the Women's World Cup on August 20th, starting at 12:00 in Spanish Peninsula time.
