Four years of waiting for a continental meet up

When Ángel decided to head to Germany to work as an engineer, his friends Pedro and Jonathan had no idea that the European Championships would be the perfect excuse to meet up with him once again.

These three young men from the small town of Soneja in Castellón planned to go together to cheer on the national team during this great pan-European tournament four years ago, but the pandemic got in the way of their plans.

"We had the tickets, but we didn't want to risk it because of the capacity restrictions in the stadiums, so we kept the funds and finally we were able to come and see Ángel four years later," explains Jonathan Ginés, whose passion for football has led him to head up a sports project in his hometown.

This group of three friends have been rewarded for their wait with the chance to meet internationals Nacho Fernández, Nico Williams and Fermín López the morning before the match against Italy.

A happy ending after years of waiting, now these three friends want to experience the ultimate climax by seeing great Spanish success in Germany.
