Full squad trains together before heading to Cologne

The Spanish national team has held its last training session before their Last 16 European Championships encounter.

On the very day that the Euro 2024 qualifiers kick off, the national team returned to the pitch early this morning for their official pre-match training session ahead of Sunday's clash against Georgia at the Cologne stadium.

The internationals are due to travel to the most populous city in the German federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia on Saturday afternoon, on the eve of the Last 16 match against the Caucasian team.

Culminating in a jubilant get-together with the fans in Donaueschingen, the final training session saw all 26 players called up for the continental tournament take part in full training together, with full-back Jesús Navas and striker Ayoze Pérez, who had been gradually being reintroduced to the group, having completed a full training session with the rest of the group, as did Nacho Fernández on Friday.

Ahead of the all-or-nothing clash against Georgia, central defender Robin Le Normand and the coach are scheduled to hold a press conference late this afternoon at the Cologne stadium.
