Spain will seal their place in the knockout stages if they can beat Italy on Thursday
Saturday's dazzling opener against Croatia at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin has put the national team in a strong position, paving the way to the later stages of the European Championships.
Spain are stand alone leaders of Group B and a win over Italy in Gelsenkirchen on Thursday would send them straight through to the last 16.
The reigning champions needed a comeback against debutants Albania to earn their first three points of the group, whose current standings are as follows:
