Gym day in Auckland with Sweden on the horizon

Just a few hours after securing Spain's first-ever qualification for the World Cup semifinals against the Netherlands, the Spanish players boarded a plane from Wellington to Auckland, where they have now set up their base camp.

In New Zealand's most populous city, the footballers hit the gym on Saturday morning for a recovery training session, aiming to fine-tune the team for the World Cup semifinal.

Sweden, the opponent set to meet them on Tuesday at Eden Park Stadium, is already on the minds of the players and coaching staff, who will continue to work intensely until the start of the World Cup clash.

The National Team will be seeking its first qualification for a major championship final next Tuesday, August 15th, at 10 in the morning Spanish peninsula time.
