Her Majesty the Copa has made it to Seville

The nine kilos of gold-plated silver that make up the Copa del Rey departed early this morning from the Ciudad del Fútbol to the city that will host Sunday's final between Real Madrid and CA Osasuna.
Two legends of both teams, Rafael Martín Vázquez and Jon Andoni Goikoetxea, acted as bearers of a copa that is the seventeenth trophy in the more than 120 years of history of the best competition in Spanish football.
It so happens that since the current copa was launched in 2018, no team has managed to lift it more than once: Valencia CF, Real Sociedad, FC Barcelona and Real Betis will be followed this weekend by Madrid and Navarre in the true celebration of football in our country.
