HONOURS LIST | 32nd cup success for FC Barcelona
La Cartuja in Seville saw the crowning of the champion of the 121st edition of the Copa del Rey on 26 April: FC Barcelona.
After a thrilling final decided in extra time, Hansi Flick’s team once again demonstrated a special relationship with the cup tournament, thus stamping their name on what is now their thirty-second cup trophy.
FC Barcelona have won six cups in the last decade.
With this triumph, the Catalans, leaders in terms of final appearances and victories, take over from Athletic Club as reigning champions after last season’s final at the same venue.
