HONOURS | Spain becomes the most decorated country in Europe with their Nations League title
On a historic day for Spanish football as a whole, our country became the record holder for the most European titles at the national team level, surpassing the mighty Germany.
The victory against Croatia in the final in Rotterdam completes the set of continental trophies after the European Championships won in Madrid 1964, Vienna 2008, and Kiev 2012.
The Germans also have three continental championships (1972, 1980, and 1996), but they have yet to reach any UEFA Nations League finals, due to Spain's consecutive appearances, with the latest resulting in a victory.
