Internationals receive their commemorative badges

A total of nine players received their awards during the UWNL final four training camp.

After the official pre-match training session at La Cartuja in Seville, prior to the UEFA Women's Nations League final, Pedro Rocha, president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation's Management Committee, and Rafael del Amo, president of the National Women's Football Committee, presented the commemorative badges, something that has been customary since the World Cup for players who have worn the Spain shirt.

Vicky López, the latest player to make her debut in the Spain shirt, received the shiny gold badge, as did Elene Lete, who made her debut on 22 February 2023, and Shei García (18), who made her debut on 17 May 2019. 

Players who have played more than 25, 50 or 100 games received different distinctions; Therefore, the players who were recognised at the event were: Alba Redondo (36 caps), Mariona (67 caps) and Aitana (61 caps); and; Alexia (113 caps), Jenni Hermoso (110 caps) and Irene Paredes (101 caps).

Finally, the three captains and centenarians with the Spanish national team, Alexia, Irene Paredes and Jenni Hermoso, were honoured with the UEFA Cup and a commemorative medal for over 100 caps for Spain.
