In a colloquial and very pleasant meeting with the media, Luis Rubiales, president of the RFEF, Francisco Cuenca, mayor of Granada, and María de Nova, general director of Systems and Values of Sport of the Andalusian Government, have highlighted the value of the tournament and the fact that it is held in a city like the Andalusian city.

"It is excellent news for Granada that a competition of this level is held here," said Francisco Cuenca, who also wanted to emphasize all the benefits of hosting the event: "It will be a direct return of 2.5 million euros and an indirect return of over 10. On behalf of the Board, de Nova recalled the excellent relationship that the institution maintains with the RFEF, in addition to emphasizing the high level of this Copa de España and what it means for the territory.

For his part, Luis Rubiales wanted to remember that the Copa de España Don Dominio is much more than a sporting spectacle and wanted to thank both the City Council and the Board for their involvement. "It is a city used to welcome people with open arms. What a fantastic city, what a pavilion... It's going to be a fantastic Copa de España", said the president of the RFEF.

The three parties also wanted to recognize the passion of the fans, "eight of the best in the world of futsal", and Rubiales recalled that the pavilion will be full and that it will also be possible to follow it on Teledeporte. "We wanted most of the tickets to be sold to the fans. Before we gave about 300 per club and now we are giving over 1,000. There is so much interest that we even had a problem due to the avalanche of requests and our website collapsed".

Also present at the event were the president of the National Indoor Football Committee, José Miguel Monje; the president of the RFAF, Pablo Lozano; and Carlos Díaz, managing director of Gegsa (Granada Eventos Sociales).
