Jorge Vilda: "We are going to go full throttle"
On their form: "I would like to highlight the effort that the players have made during this month of preparation. The feelings we have are very positive. We want to get the tournament underway, we will train this afternoon and tomorrow we have the game. We are prepared and ready to start the World Cup".
On the goal: "Our goal is always to win and we have an internationally recognized and recognizable style. There is great expectation with what we can do on the field. We respect all the teams, but we want to impose our style and it to be recognised by everyone".
On Alexia Putellas: "We still have one training session left and all the players are available. We are making the most of all the training sessions to be able to have the best Alexia so she can play tomorrow."
On the tournament: "I think we are facing a more even World Cup because the teams prepare better and the gap between the top teams is less than it was. We are going to see a very high level World Cup with very attractive matches and a record number of spectators in the stadiums as well as those watching from home".
"We have improved substantially in the ranking and now we have leading players who play in Spain"
On the support network: "There are many differences between this team and the one that debuted in a World Cup eight years ago. We have many more means and tools to produce a better performance and on a personal level the football players have better working conditions, such as the conciliation agreement. We have improved substantially in the ranking and now we have leading players who play in Spain".
On the starting 11: "The starting eleven will be finalized tonight after training. One of our strengths is that we have many possibilities and we are not limited to just one system. In the lower age groups we are the best in the world and now we want to go all out with the senior team and go very far".
On playing Costa Rica: "It is a well-known rival. A very competitive team that closes spaces very well in defense and is dangerous on the counterattack. You have to prepare the start of the first and second half well. Any team that gives one hundred percent will make it complicated".
