On Athenea del Castillo: "We know she has done something to her ankle, but we have to wait until tomorrow to know the full extent of the injury. In principle it doesn't look like anything serious".

On his satisfaction: "The second goal came from a very good play and Alexia's cross was great. I'm very happy to be in the last 16, happy about parts of the game and knowing that this team is a squad of 23 players and I'm also very happy that Jenni made her 100th appearance".

On Tere Abelleira: "What she did on the pitch today says a lot about the kind of player she is and what she can become. She played an outstanding game helping the team. I'm very happy with her performance".

On the players’ desire: "There were five goals today and it could have been many more. I'm happy with the ambition of the team".

On potential improvements: "I agree that we slowed down after the second goal. I don't think we can be complacent because any team can make things difficult for you. We want to improve against Japan.

"I´m happy with the ambition of the team"

On the defence: "I'm pleased with the game Irene Paredes played because she was up against one of the best strikers in the world in terms of strength and speed. The full-backs also fought very well in what was a tough test for them".

On Hermoso: "Her position depends on where the team needs her. Jenni is a team player, who puts her talent and effort at the disposal of the team. She can play in different positions because players of her quality can play anywhere".

On the team: "We have shown that Spain is a squad of 23 players. All the players are picked based on their profile and today we didn't see the best version of Spain".

On any concerns: "What worries me most right now is Athenea's situation. Apart from that, we want to review the game, see how we can improve and prepare for the match against Japan".

On her rivals: "Spain don't know how to play for anything but the win. Japan are a very similar team to us. We have to improve a lot compared to what we saw in our last game against them.
