Jorge Vilda: "Zambia are a really dangerous team"
On Zambia: "The result they had against Japan should not deceive us. They beat Germany in preparation and if they lost against Japan it was because the Japanese played a very intelligent game. Zambia are a very dangerous team and with the slightest lapse in concentration they are capable of creating chances on the counter-attack. We have our weapons to counter them.
Goal difference: "The first objective is to win the game, but the goal difference is something we are taking into account. We won't think about how many goals we have to score, but the more we score, the better.
On the difficulty of the match: "Measuring the level of the opponents is the responsibility of the coaching staff. We have to bear in mind that for Zambia it’s an all or nothing match. It's difficult to give Zambia a specific score, but I'm expecting a very difficult game.
On Alexia: "She's fine, she felt good in the previous game and in the training sessions. She is following her process and is happy. I can't reveal m anything about tomorrow's starting eleven.
"I think that when 2 teams are closely matched physically, football is the winner".
On the starting 11: "We still have the training session this afternoon and that will give us the information we need to finalise the starting eleven".
On the preparation: "We've been training set pieces and pressuring them after losing the ball is going to be crucial in tomorrow's game because a simple clearance can leave a rival player in front of our goalkeeper. We have to show that we are a confident team and that we know what we need to do. That way, everything will be fine".
On a tight World Cup: "This is the most even World Cup in terms of physicality. This is why we’re seeing closer results, even with the bigger teams. In the future the physical conditioning of the teams will continue getting more and more similar, although I also think that despite this, footballing ability will prevail.
On being insistent: "One of the principles of training is repetition. Gaining automatisms is not achieved from one day to the next, but with repetition and by testing the team in matches. It's not easy, but we're on the right track and the team is going to get better".
On training: "We are working individually, in units and collectively. We are implementing new resources for the team and analysing how our opponents can threaten us. These training sessions are having an effect on the team and we also use video analysis to help the players can reproduce what we want".
