Kepa returns to La Rosaleda, the scene of his national team debut

1,960 days and nights have passed, but Kepa remembers it as if it were yesterday: "I have beautiful memories whenever I am in Malaga, which I hadn´t been back to since my debut with the National Team in 2017."

It was on 11th November of that year when the Basque goalkeeper was in goal for the first time for the National Team, supported by his teammates, a starting 11 he still knows by heart five and a half years later.

On his return to the National Team, he is "happy to be back and to have the coach’s backing, he´s feeling good and enjoying himself again" says the man from Ondárroa, a few hours before Spain and Norway go head to head in the first European Cup qualifying match".

Kepa Arrizabalaga finishes off by emphasising the support of his teammates Robert Sánchez and David Raya, as well as the need to be fully aware of the difficulty of the two upcoming games in this international round of games.
