Kepa: "The best thing is to feel the support of the people because we play for them"
Thirty months after playing his last match with the National Team, Kepa Arrizabalaga is hopeful about his return to the team because "I see myself ready and eager to play. I want to play, but it is the coach who decides and what I have to do is to be as good as possible".
The loss of the starting lineup at Chelsea FC has prevented the Ondarroa native from earning more caps during the last season, in a situation "in which I proposed to myself to be able to go home with a clear head and a clear conscience for having given everything. Faced with the substitution I could take two options and I chose to use it to analyze, correct mistakes and take each match as an opportunity to try to be a better goalkeeper".
🗣️ @kepa_46: “Es emocionante volver a Las Rozas, ver a la gente llenando las gradas y sentir el cariño y la emoción de los niños en el primer entrenamiento.

Patience has paid off and this Monday Kepa was able to enjoy the support of the fans during the first training session of the year, something that the goalkeeper is especially grateful for because "it is exciting to come back here and see all the people in the stands with enthusiasm. Feeling the affection of the people is the best thing because we play for them".
🗣️ @kepa_46: “Noruega tiene grandes jugadores y es verdad que la ausencia de Haaland es importante para su equipo".

This coming Saturday Norway will be the first hurdle on the road to the finals of the European Championship and the Basque player speaks on its importance, since "starting with a victory marks the qualification. The first matches are very important because they mark the rest. We must take advantage of the fact that we are playing in front of our fans. It will be a very tough match, even though Haaland will definitely not be able to play because whoever plays in his place will try to do as well or better", concludes the goalkeeper three days before the match at La Rosaleda.
🗣️ @kepa_46: “Estamos adaptándonos a lo que nos quiere el nuevo entrenador. A los porteros nos seguirá exigiendo que ayudemos a la línea defensiva y seamos uno más cuando tengamos balón".
