Lamine Yamal smashes early debut records

At 16 years and 57 days old, the attacker becomes the youngest player to debut for Spain

Lamine Yamal is among the chosen ones, a brilliant footballer who looks fantastic. He is growing at a staggering rate, and this Friday, at the age of 16 years and 57 days, he has shattered all records by becoming, by a large margin, the youngest player to debut for the National Team. No one had done it before the age of 17, which is already quite young, but Lamine Yamal did it just after celebrating his 16th birthday on July 13.

Lamine Yamal will always remember the Boris Paichadze of Georgia; you never forget the first time. Wearing the number 19 on his back, the very young attacker had his first minutes with Spain, surpassing Gavi's record, who made his debut in 2021 at San Siro at the age of 17. He came on just before halftime, replacing Marco Asensio.

There are many players who skip stages, special players who, as children, are already with the senior team because they possess a special talent. The case of Lamine Yamal is even more exceptional, also a key player at the start of this season with FC Barcelona. As always requested by the coaching staff, we need to let him find his path and grow to become the great footballer that he promises to be. He certainly doesn't lack quality, hard work, or enthusiasm.
