Lamine Yamal Nasraoui Ebana was honoured on Wednesday, 27 November, with the 2024 Golden Boy award, recognising him as the best young footballer in the world. Lamine Yamal succeeds Jude Bellingham, who won the award in 2023, and Gavi and Pedri, who claimed the title in 2022 and 2021, respectively.
At just 17 years old, Lamine Yamal continues to break barriers and set records. He will receive the award at a ceremony scheduled for 16 December in Turin.
