Laughter, challenges, and a great atmosphere in a very special programme
If there is one thing that comes out about the Olympic Football Team, it is, above all, that they are a united team. This is something clearly demonstrated by the players in the one-hour 'Special Olympic Football Team Programme' broadcast on the Spanish Football Federation official channels.
The content, recorded during the pre-tournament training camp in Las Rozas, featured 20 of the 22 players in the squad (Álex Baena and Fermín López were competing in the European Championships in Germany, where they were crowned champions). Laughter, smiles and a great atmosphere were the main features in the challenges, games, questions, and interviews, through which we learn a bit more about the intimate details of a team aspiring to reach the top of the podium at the Paris Olympic Games.
