The Spanish national team now has a basecamp for the pan-continental event to be held in Switzerland from 2 to 27 July. The Royal Spanish Football Federation has chosen the city of Lausanne to host the national team during the tournament. The Olympic capital, home to the International Olympic Committee, breathes sport, art and culture at every turn.

The Spanish team will train at the Juan Antonio Samaranch Stadium, a UEFA-accredited high-performance sports facility in a privileged location next to Lake Geneva, which has already been used by several international clubs.

Portugal, Belgium and Italy are the first opponents for Spain, who will kick off their Group B campaign on Thursday 3 July in Berne against the Portuguese side. The next stop will be in Thun against the Belgians before finishing the group stage again in Bern against the ‘Azzurri’.
