This is how Luis de la Fuente, the new National coach, presented himself this morning to the fans and the media. His experience in the world of football is beyond any doubt.
In a completely full Luis Aragonés Assembly Hall, the head of the Spanish National Team expressed his gratitude for the support and the opportunity that this Board of Directors has given him. For Luis de la Fuente "the ceiling of this Selection is to reach the top" and with that objective he will work from day one.
In his presentation, the message to the fans was clear: "I want to ensure that there are 48 million Spaniards who give their all for this team and for this shirt, so that we are and feel like a team."
He feels lucky to be able to choose among so many talents that Spanish football offers. A new stage begins in which "all eligible players have the same opportunities. There are very good footballers and they all have open doors." Together with Luis de la Fuente, his coaching staff has been presented.
